We are seeking a passionate and skilled Bartender to join our team at a luxury hotel located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a flair for mixology, a friendly personality, and the ability to create memorable guest experiences. You will be responsible for preparing a wide range of beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar, and providing exceptional customer service to all guests. As a bartender, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our guests’ experiences by offering personalized drink recommendations, crafting innovative cocktails, and ensuring the bar operates smoothly and efficiently. Your knowledge of beverages, attention to detail, and ability to engage with customers will contribute to the overall success of the hotel’s food and beverage operations.
Bartender Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, specialty drinks, and custom creations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, understanding their preferences, and recommending drinks based on their tastes.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all equipment, glassware, and tools are sanitized and properly stored.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed and informing management of any shortages.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with UAE regulations and hotel policies.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following hotel procedures for billing and payment.
- Collaborate with other bar and restaurant staff to ensure seamless service, especially during peak hours or events.
- Create and suggest new drink recipes to enhance the bar menu and attract guests.
- Address and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure compliance with all UAE laws regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
Bartender Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a high-end hotel, restaurant, or bar setting.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail preparation, and a variety of drink recipes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Certification in food and beverage handling or bartending is a plus.
- Knowledge of Arabic or additional languages is an advantage but not required.
