We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at a 3-star hotel in Dubai. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient financial transactions while providing exceptional customer service to our guests. As the face of the hotel’s financial operations, you will handle all payment processes and maintain accuracy in all transactions.
Location: 3-Star Hotel, Dubai, Salary: AED 2,800 per month
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Manage all guest transactions, including cash, credit/debit card, and other payment methods.
- Accurately record all financial transactions and maintain detailed records for auditing purposes.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change to guests, ensuring accuracy in every transaction.
- Handle billing inquiries and resolve any discrepancies in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work closely with the front desk and other departments to support seamless guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Ensure that the cashier desk is clean, organized, and adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
- Report any discrepancies, shortages, or technical issues to the management promptly.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and inquiries efficiently.
- Adhere to hotel policies, procedures, and UAE labor laws.
Cashier Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in the hospitality industry, is an advantage.
- Proficiency in basic math and familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Professional demeanor and a guest-focused attitude.
